Description
Explore Thread Painting is an opportunity to use basic free motion skills to try something new and exciting! Robin will show you how to construct an appliquéd coneflower with her original art quilt pattern “Coneflower Garden” design. This little quilt will be thread painted to make it appear more like it’s embroidered. You will understand the appliqué process along with stabilizing your work of art. Once you have mastered this technique, you can use the skills learned in this class to add thread painting details on future quilts & wearable art projects making them so much more custom and realistic. This is a fat quarter friendly art quilt. Free original pattern included & will be handed out in the class.
