136 Sea Grass - Dinky Dyes Silk Ribbon 4mm

During the covid years with more free time at home, I have returned to unfinished projects. A Victorian bear project with silk ribbon embroidery from 1998 (!) was one of them. I discovered I didn't have enough silk ribbon and had a difficult time finding the colours I wanted. I became worried that perhaps the popularity of silk ribbon embroidery had waned and I wouldn't be able to finish my project. Stitch-it-Central had the ribbon that I needed. The silk colours are beautiful. I also bought some new John James ribbon embroidery needles to help my project run smoothly.
